I stopped at Cafe Varenne in the 7th Arr. for brunch and champagne on my way to the Musee Rodin. They served Riunart Champagne, which was lovely. I wanted an omelette, but didn't find it on the menu, so I was prepared to drink my champagne and move on. I told my waiter that I had hoped for an omelette with my champagne, and he said: "Madame, no problem. We can do that for you. " Kindness. I will never forget that morning...and I did use the salt and pepper!
